Spiced Honey Biscuits
Emzee of Emzeegee and the Hungry Three is a damn fine pastry chef who commits Random Acts of Sweetness (RAS) on a weekly basis. This weeks RAS are Spiced Honey Biscuits, which I decided to make this evening as the recipe just seemed too easy (you can find the recipe here).
These moreish cookies will make a couple of carpenters very happy at smoko tomorrow.

Look delish! I have a spiced honey cookie I’ve been making this winter (perfect for the weather) but these definitely look worth a go too.
Heheee - I’m thinking ‘moreish’ rather than moorish, though. No orange flower water in sight;-)

Haha…oops. Thanks for picking that one up. I will change.
Yup - you must give these ones a go. Seriously, from the minute I started preparing the ingredients to when I pulled them out of the oven was 22 minutes.
Taste/texture-wise they are very gingernutty. When in the oven just keep a close eye on them as I noticed the darker ones developed a hint of bitterness.
