I was pleasantly surprised with Gonpachi too. I thought it might be too twee, too hyped after all the Kill Bill thing, but the food was just amaing.

And yes, I most certainly intend on returning!

This is a *fantastic* site I’ve stumbled onto – I’ve been flicking through those pages, and I recognised this place!

I was in Japan last year and I was surprised with a dinner there – and I must say, it was sheer divinity. I sampled foies gras for the first time there, and it tasted like the most richest and rarest wagyu beef ever – it was actually on a kushi, drizzled with balsamic vingear and with strawberry silvers. Next time you visit, please do go there for dinner! Keep up the food blogging!
