This is the Kit Kat Torokeru Zeitaku Kaoru Koucha, or “To be enchanted with fragrant black tea”. This deluxe version comes two to a box, in a thicker finger individually wrapped in foil. The taste? Well, I kind of like it! It’s quite strong and most certainly fragrant, with the heady aroma of a steaming cup of black tea with milk and two sugars (to be precise). It also has a thick core of similiarly flavoured crème on top of the wafer. Sugoi!
I also have a somewhat embarrasing confession to make. My freakish obssession with Japanese Kit Kats has led me into placing an order at napaJapan’s store on ebay. So stay tuned for futher Kit-Katting fun.
You can look at my other Kit Kat posts here, here, here and oh yes, here.

I am also very obsessed with Japanese Kit Kats. A few weeks ago I found my favourite green tea ones sold in Melbourne but they were gone in a day.
Hey Jarra! Ahh…a fellow Kit-Katter! Yes, you have to be really quick with snatching up Kit Kats in this town. Have you tried Greater Eastern on Russell? Or Oriental Grocer in Melb Central? They tend to be the two I’ve found most reliable.
BTW, love the new threads on your blog. Gee…I’ll need to drag you along to the next trip to Savers. I normally come out empty handed!
Thats something I like to try, even though I’m not too crazy about black tea.
He Ms. 2 be! – the black tea is actually really nice, although my favourite will alway be the green tea version.
Hi Mellie,
I am wondering whether there will be quaratine issues to bring in Kit Kat from overseas. Don’t they contain milk? I am also interested to place order with the website you mention.
Hey SS – I don’t believe there to be any quarantine issues with confectionary (unless it contains egg). Don’t quote me on that though. But I had no issue with their import.
Good luck! I’ll probably place an order in a month or so. I’m still eating the ones I got on the first shipment
Keeping myself to one a day!
