Some may know +39 as the international dialling code for Italy, but others will soon know it as the newest addition to Little Bourke St. This new pizzeria e degustazione may very well turn out to be a rather interesting eating spot.
I’ve mentioned Remo, the Italian Stallion, in a post about one of my favourite cafes, Espressino, before. Well he has flown the coop, leaving the business in the very capable hands of Dino and Enis, and started another new venture called +39. By day it is expected to offer similar fare as his former place of work. By night, well, I guess that remains to be seen (it opens for business this Thursday). The chef’s hail from Italy and will specialise in pizza and assaggini. And if its coffee you’re after, a rather sexy-looking Adonis by Victoria Arduino will hopefully brew some perfect cups of Romcaffe too.

Ug, is that Remo? What’s that stuff on his face?!
Might have to check this place out one evening, see what they’re doing.
I’ve been having brekky there this week, and the odd lunch! The brekkies, coffees, pizzas, piadina are just what you’d expect from these guys – superb!
The new space is lovely, open and light, with beutiful wooden tables and everything server on wooden platters embossed with the +39 logo.
Also, it’s Remo’s birthday today, so give him a visit and wish him happy birthday.
Hey anna – well lets book it in! And I think that stuff on his face is chic three day growth
Hi Michelle – I really loved the fit out as well – it’s bright and airy, and that coffee machine is just stunning. I must try and make it there for breakfast, and soon!
Buon Compleanno Remo!
Went here at lunchtime today. Fantastic place with very authentic Italian lunch fare. Just good simple food made with fresh ingredients. I was really surprised at how inexpensive it is as well. Pasta’s $15, Pizza’s $10, Panni etc about $8.50. Really great spot.
@mutemonkey Found the post. I must visit. In fact, I must get out to the CBD more. http://bit.ly/x7s5G

I just had breakfast there this morning, again.
A fantastic little venue. Whether it be for breakfast, coffee, lunch or dinner.
Can highly recommend checking it out, if you have not already.
Bon appetit.
