Just wanted to put out a quick note about a great project by Rotary Club of St Kilda that is raising funds for the Sacred Heart Mission and Rotary’s ShelterBox program.
Relish is a cookbook with recipes donated by local Port Phillip restaurants and cafes, such as Circa, Blue Corn, Il Fornaio, Lau’s Family Kitchen, Melbourne Wine Room, Mirka at Tolarno, Mr.Wolf, Stokehouse and Soulmama (to name just a few). Relish2009 is nearly sold out (you can buy the last of them here), and they are currently compiling for 2010.
If you’re interested in contributing they are running a Tastes of St Kilda Recipe competition, which has some rather delectable prizes. Five winners will get a food experience package with culinary food trainer, Glenn Flood, a Raw Materials Spanish Hamper including Movida Cook book, and their recipe published in Relish 2010. One major prize will be announced for the Tastes of St Kilda ‘Recipe of the Year’, the winner of this prize will receive a Luxury Prince Hotel Spa & Circa Dinner package.
Just make sure you get your recipe in by Friday 27 February 2009.
